Westgate Baptist Community has always held hospitality and inclusion as core values.
We have a wonderful purpose-built commercial kitchen, thanks to the generosity of members, friends and grants from bodies such as Maribyrnong City Council, Baptcare, and the Building Stronger Communities initiative.
We collect food that would otherwise be thrown out as unsellable and use it to create weekly nutritious dinners for anyone in our wider community to enjoy.
We meet and eat at 6.00pm on Monday evenings, every Monday except for public holidays and the summer school holidays.
All are welcome to join us for the meal.
We also freeze meals to give to people who would appreciate a free meal to eat at home.
We welcome volunteers to help prepare and serve meals. For information about volunteering opportunities, click here.

Our kitchen is also available for hire on an on-going basis, or for occasional events. See our Facility Hire webpage for more details.
